Achieving excellence through certification
Initial Assessment
The initial registration involves a two stage assessment process, including a document review, and a site visit.
You should apply for registration to the local GIC office.
GIC assessors conduct documentation review and/or preliminary assessment to gauge readiness of your management system. You may need to take improvements / corrective actions where necessary.
GIC assessors perform initial assessment and determine whether you should be recommended for registration.
Continual assessment
Once you have received registration and been awarded your certificate, your management system(s) will be periodically checked by GIC to ensure that it continues to meet the requirements of the standard.
